The main goal of the organization to rehabilitate the persons with disabilities as well as the all weaker section of the society in educationally, vocationally, technically, physically, mentally, Psychologically and to change their living style as prestigious human being in the society.
To improve the ability of differently able persons by their involvement and participation in the development process, by promoting their Rights & Rehabilitation.
Present Status of Organisation
Now the DESILVA HANDICAP TRUST & SPECIAL SCHOOL FOR INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY CHILDRENS is a secular, Non-profit making social service organization run by a Registered Trust with 04 Executive board members under the overall supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and under the direct control of Mr.M.SHANMUGAM as Managing Trustee of the Organization.
The entire administration and all the charitable activities including the free services are carried on as per the collective decision of the Managing Trustee, Trustee and the board Members passed in the Board meeting. The DESILVA TRUST&SPECIAL SCHOOL FOR INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY CHILDRENS NILGIRI DISTRICT. Intellectual disability students in suitable Buildings with therapy unit classroom for 25 students. special teachers in the institution working day and night for the welfare of the disabled. From this year.
